Yay for cats! and I hope you're able to go to Comic Con! It sounds like fun! ^^
Me too! :)
Plan ahead! I accidentally went the same day that Stan Lee was signing stuff and the place was PACKED, took about two hours to get inside (not including waiting to park).
Oh man! thank you!! I have to find the one I want to go to!
You're a Mom of two adorable cats there. :)And I hope you can attend Comic Con! I'd love to attend it, too, someday.
Aw thank youuuu!
look into it!! :)
Meow! So cute! :D Ellie,xxElephant stories and more
Kitties <3 Lucky, Comic Con >.<
It's definitely overwhelming if it's your first time, there is so much going on all at the same time, you have to really plan out what you want to do,where it's going to be, etc. I went to the san diego comic con a few years ago, right before it was completely crazy, and it was so much fun, just being there! We only went to one or two panels though, and bought a few things. Definitely worth going even if you are just wandering around. If you are cosplaying, be prepared to be stopped every second for a picture and watch out for the creeps trying to sneak pictures.
It does seem so much fun! I am so ready for it! I do want to dress up. I have my sewing machine all ready! haha. That's my dream to get out to san diego. Thank you so much! You got me all excited, except for the creeps. :p
Wear comfortable shoes! That's got to be the biggest thing. Also, be patient, and polite. Treating the people that work there as nice as possible has always garnered a new friend. I know that one cosplayer was extremely rude about EVERY person who took a picture of her Rule 63 Super Sayen Gohan, or Goku (Dragonball/Z). I was behind her in line, and she looked great. But, she literally put down every person who asked to take her picture while we were in line. That just made me sad, cause she looked amazingly cool, but no one likes a mean person. Also, there's more than SDCC (if that's where you're planning on going). Look up other cons. There are great gaming ones (you appear to be really like video games).I hope you get to go! I hope I do too LOL!I hope this helps :)
Thank you! Thats good advice. That is sad though to put so much effort into a costume and be weird about getting pictures taken. I've looking into both. I love Cosplay so the comic con would be fun. Gaming conventions are GREAT! I do hope to get to E3 someday. Thank you! I hope you go too!
You have two adorable kitties!!!! I see there was something very interesting above them ;) The Comic-con must be an awesome experience. I've only been to the Manga con in Barcelona and lots of patience and portable video games were handy to stand the queues outside :) hope to read your review afterwards!
Haha, they were looking at me being all crazy for their attention. Thank you! I'll bring out some Animal Crossing. :p
cutie cats! i love their cheeky faces (= - http://025geru.blogspot.com/
adorable! hope you'll get to go to comic con! i've only been to the convention in new york and wish to make it out to san diego one day!
You and me both! I want to go to the San Diego one super bad!
I adore the cats! each has a different personality .... who said just lie down and do nothing? ... yes they sleep, but they do much, especially when we sleep!
Hahaha. They are awesome! My one is basically a dog too.
I went to Comic Con in NYC this past summer and it was so much fun! Unless you are going to a bunch of the panels, I would suggest only going for the one day. We had plenty of time to see everything without going to panels in just the one day. Also, people are willing to buy your pass at the end of the day if you don't mind parting with it. My boyfriend made $30 from some guy who wanted to pass even though there was only an hour left to the convention! Being sentimental, I kept my pass. :) I also got to see Stan Lee just because I was in the right place at the right time. Excited to see if you go! I'm new to your blog so not sure which location you would be going to!P.S. I agree with above, wear comfortable shoes for sure!! Also, bring an empty bag for all the stuff you get/buy.Laurenz Side of Life <3http://laurenzsideoflife.blogspot.com/
Thank you, thank you!! I think for my first time I'd just enjoy it and walk around. That's a nice tip to know! I'd probably be like you though and want to keep it. That's amazing you met Stand Lee! I met Adam West at a toy show, hahah! I am close to the Pittsburgh area. I am not sure what they have to offer. I know Philly has a decent one.
Such cuties!I would love to go to ComicCon one day! Until I save my money, only local Cons for me.
:) thanks. I know the money saving is tough. haha
Your kitties are soooo adorable. As far as comic con (or any con) tips: comfortable shoes, bring in outside food if can, get used to waiting, be nice (most people will be) & wash your hands often.
Thank you!! I am starting to see a pattern here.
Your cats are so cute! As for cons, be prepared to be stood up for a long time. If you're staying over a weekend, make sure you have plenty to eat and drink. In fact, The Nerdy Girlie recently did a similar post: http://www.thenerdygirlie.com/p/san-diego-comic-con-help.html
Thank you!!! I will check it out! :)
Awwwwwwwww they are absolutely adorable. I think they just made me let out a little squeek.Hannah x | lovelettersandsnippets
