Sims 4, Excited or not?

As most of you may already know Electronic Arts announced Sims 4 on May 6, 2013. It's release date has been push back til late 2014. (fall-ish) This is one series I probably should have given up on, but I just can't. It came out when I was younger and I've always been hooked. The game play isn't my main focus. As for the building mode, I love it! I've had more fun building on the Sims than any professional CAD builder. I am just hoping EA has gotten their stuff together, since the disappointing release of Sim City. (I am kinda worried.) Let's hope for the best. The Sims is always a fun past time.

  1. I got hooked on the Sims a few years ago, which was great for when I got snowed in for a week. I'm totally with you on the building mode - it's my favourite part of the game, too! I might be more excited about Sims 4 closer to the actual release date. :)

    1. I am the same way! I still play Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 and enjoy it very much. I've gotten the urge to try installing the old sims. I am sure it would run faster. ( '∀')

    1. I am the opposite. I always tell my self I am going to stick with one family, and then I go off building more houses. It's addicting!

  4. I'm embarrassed to admit the first (and only) time I played The Sims, I almost burned my character's house down within the first ten minutes. Making pancakes. I guess life simulation games just aren't for me.

  5. I never got into the Sims, but the hubby's been playing Sims 3 recently and made me and him in the game. His sim is always freaking out over something stupid, leaving my sim to clean up his messes. Because this is nothing like how things work IRL... :P

  7. I'm a big Simmer, but when I first saw the advert for this I was with a friend and we both agreed it was creepy. The whole emotions thing was just a bit weird. Give me Sims 2 style Sims, emotionless and more upset over cockroaches then family dying. :') <3

    1. Haha! That is a great point! I didn't even think about that. You're right! And I believe now they'd even go into a depression over things! It's to real life.
